YMS Boston Student Jennifer Murphy Wins 1st Place Award

Yamaha Music School of Boston is proud to announce that student Jennifer Murphy has been awarded 1st Place in Division I for the 2010 Yamaha Junior Original Concert (USA).

Jennifer will be performing her original composition, Dreamland, at the 2010 National Concert on Sunday, October 10th at Cary Hall in Lexington, MA.  Jennifer is the first recipient of this honor from the Boston Yamaha location.  She will be joined by the other young composers and performers from Yamaha Schools across the country.

 

 

 

Jennifer is a graduate of the Young Musicians Course and studies piano/composition with Aaron Jackson and piano with Ayako Hattori.
